Saffrons Park Nursery
We are a forest school and curiosity approach-Accredited nursery in Eastbourne. We care for children from 6 weeks to 4 years and provide a range of age-appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development right up until they are ready to join school.
At Saffrons Park Nursery, we are a close-knit team that goes above and beyond to create a family feel in our nursery. Our facilities provide state-of-the-art security throughout, giving our parents complete peace of mind as to the safety of their precious children.
Our team is highly qualified in all aspects of childcare including NVQ Level 3 in Childcare up to Degree level. We continually invest in our team and provide opportunities to further their knowledge and development which maintains their motivation, commitment, and enjoyment. This could be through long-term qualification routes or short courses or in-house training.

We're currently looking for THREE dedicated team leaders who will assume responsibility for the delivery of high-quality childcare and education to children who attend our nursery.
The successful candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the children of the nursery as a trusted provider of high quality, flexible childcare for families from the local communities.

Requirements:
Level 3 or above CCLD Qualification (or equivalent)
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Warm and caring personality – friendly and approachable to families.
Knowledge of child development and a commitment to equal opportunities for all children and families.
Confidence in making day-to-day decisions thoughtfully and with a high degree of sensitivity to the needs of children and families.
Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, particularly those applying to childcare.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
To be responsible for and oversee the day-to-day management, activity organisation and to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
To create a welcoming and family-friendly environment.
o be always responsible for high standards of care and education of children in accordance with policies.
To order and maintain equipment and resources in the nursery.
To be responsible for admissions in line with the admissions policy, to keep a register and up-to-date records of all children in attendance, and to give regular feedback to parents about their child’s development and progress.
To be responsible for the supervision and management of staff with varying levels of experience and to organise training for them.

Benefits Of Working At
Saffrons Park Nursery
4-day working week for full-time practitioners & 2 or 3-day working week for part-time practitioners.
Shifts are given termly in advance, meaning you can plan and make the most of your time off.
We are Curiosity Approach Accredited, with our owner Sarah being an Ambassador for the approach.
We pay above minimum wage.
Being a center with an outdoor learning approach means that staff and children spend as much time outdoors as possible, with our preschool groups being based outside for the whole day.

We offer training such as safeguarding, food hygiene, and health and safety. These are all completed as part of our onboarding process
We also offer first aid training within the first 6 months of an employee starting at Saffrons Park.
